Magee Family | Fall ’21 – Spring ’22

Let’s be real – this is a catch all blog post (clearly since the title has a seven month range to it). But this is the season of life that we’re in right now so a recap post it is! I figured it will be easiest to have tidbits of text throughout so hope you enjoy!

First up- the arrival of our sweet baby girl! If you don’t know, Ryan and I did not know the gender and either of our children but Grayson was convinced it was a girl. To the point we kept telling him it would be okay to have a brother because we were worried he might be mad. Ellie ultimately waited for her induction date (although I thought for sure she would be early) and I got an email from Grayson’s teacher saying we’re thinking of you – Grayson told us he’s having a baby sister named Ellie! Um, that was not going to be her name. Grayson had never mentioned the name Ellie ever. And I look at Ryan in the hospital room, already with my epidural, and said but I really like that name. So yes, our three-year-old named our daughter 🙂

And because our life is very hectic and I forgot to take any candids, next up is more Ellie – when I had the realization that I had no photos so here’s our spontaneous 6-week old photoshoot 🙂 Aaaand then again at about 10 weeks – whoops!

Next up, the holidays! We always have a joint family Thanksgiving and then we were in Tarpon Springs for Christmas with the ENTIRE Magee crew (yes, we have 21 in our immediate family and are literally always growing) and then went to the Dominican to spend New Years with my family.

And then finally, back to more day-in the life vibe. Yes, Trusty is still here and as mischievous as ever but we love him. Grayson is still very obsessed with animals so we made a trip to the Tampa Zoo with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Sean – who were all in and convinced him to go on the water ride, which he obviously loved.
