Magee Family | Spring 2020

Hi! When I first started putting effort into my blog about three years ago, I had so few shoots that I just ended up putting personal things and outfits and such (if you want a laugh you can go alllll the way back and see what I’m talking about) but I want to get back to that! So I’m going to do the occasional family post updates- I’m going to start my seasons so I don’t over commit

These I took on my birthday! We were primetime quarantine and none of us had gotten dressed in quite some time so I wanted to take some photos mid-morning to challenge myself and find some good lighting and put G in fancy clothes and went for a walk 🙂

Aaaand then Ry was a trooper because a few days later I decided I was going to redo my whole website and needed family photos so out came the tripod and and dressy outfits by quarantine standards but worth it! (P.S. These are by far the hardest family I’ve ever taken- photographing your family is a WHOLE. OTHER. STORY.)

I’m realizing as I’m putting this together that I made Ry do a decent amount of photos but gotta love all the time in quarantine. We did some more headshots and then we took some photos with my parents as my Mother’s Day present 🙂
