Strunk Family | Gender Reveal

Now that I am finally taking the time to catch up on the blog I knew I had to start with Lizzi and TJ! To start these two get a major standing ovation for handling this day with grace because it was definitely a roller coaster – the gender reveal they ordered was the wrong color! (See below) We photographed everything- even the exploding football with pink powder. I was on my way home when one of my good friends (and Lizzi’s sister-in-law) called me and told me that they were having a boy and the results were wrong. Of course, I immediately turned around because we couldn’t not document the boy things! Lizzi and TJ’s friends ran to the dollar store and quite literally grabbed anything blue they could grab. We re-did the posed photos, now with blue balloons, and even though there was no “reveal” it was seriously so much fun! The support that Lizzi & TJ have around them from their friends and family (and how dedicated they were to covering them in blue streamers and silly string) all of us were crying we were laughing so hard.

Lizzi & TJ – your gender reveal is certainly one I will never forget and I’m so excited to meet that sweet baby boy!
