While this post was long overdue, I don’t hate reliving this day three months after the fact. Sarah & Luke were one of my first couples that were victims of the pandemic – they were the classic big wedding planned at the pretty venue in April and it all came to a crashing halt and they handled everything with such grace. When they sent me pictures of their elopement in Boston on their original wedding day, I teared up. Sarah’s sister married them and they honored the day they should’ve been celebrating with all of their family and loved ones but chose each other. They decided to have a smaller celebration in Sarah’s parents’ backyard on the water in December and it was truly so beautiful. The smaller wedding trend is definitely something I can get behind- the intimate moments and overall less stressful day is just so worth it. Sarah & Luke – thank you for being the sweetest and classiest people I know. I feel so lucky to document your story and I’m going to need you guys to move down here ASAP 🙂
